VENT!!!! Grrrrrr!

I don't know if it is him now that I am pregnant, or me? He seems cranky and defensive... He doesn't put any effort into spending time with me. He has a billion + 1 things he "needs" to do before he makes dinner (he used to make dinner every night, now I am pretty much on my own). It is so frustrating! I thought he was supposed to be nicer to me while pregnant...it seems I've gotten the opposite.

Ok, that was my vent. Blah!

I am done clothes shopping for a while. I found one good garage sale yesterday when I went...so I am satisfied with that. I got lots of Baby Gap clothes for a fabulous price! Now, no more baby shopping until AFTER my baby showers :)

Oh, and I am still not feeling any movement, at 21 weeks. I guess I need her to get a little bigger! I forgot to post before that she is measuring 2 days ahead of her due date (February 7th, measuring February 5th). And she weighs a whopping 12 oz! Grow baby, grow!!!

Oh Boy...It's a GIRL!!!!!

I can't hardly believe it! I thought for sure it was a boy, but I was soooo wrong! :) It is still sinking in that we are going to have a baby girl. I think DH is very excited. Not necessarily more excited than he would have been with a boy, but just so excited! I cant wait to see him with our little girl - he is gonna be such a sucker! Hehe

I have a handful of ultrasound pictures that I need to post on here - but this couch is just too comfortable at the moment, so it will have to wait...

Sex...

No, not that kind... ;) I'm speaking of the gender! So...it seems like everyone I know that is pregnant is having a girl. AND so far in the poll, girl is winning. I am SO thinking it is a boy though! I've said it from the beginning (even before I got pregnant) that I thought it would be a boy. I don't know why... but I definitely think it is a boy. I can't imagine having a girl. I'm not sure if it is because my mom and DH's mom had a boy first. I just can't imagine having a girl first. So, I guess that is my vote on the poll...Boy.

We find out Tuesday!!!!! It couldn't come soon enough! I am literally counting down the days.

My belly is getting so big! Sometimes it doesn't seem that big (like when I wear my scrubs all day) but other times, it seems absolutely huge. Like today, when I wore normal clothes. My belly stuck out so far. It isn't really a concentrated baby bump...it seems fairly evenly distributed in my lower half - I just hope people can tell that I am pregnant and don't just think I have a huge beer belly ;)

Mike's cousin was a bad influence yesterday and took me to a garage sale with adorable baby clothes that were so cheap!!! I bought a whole bag full! It was mostly Baby Gap. ADORABLE! They sold everything except outfits for $0.50 and the outfits for $1.00. So I got the whole bag for only $10.00!!! Crazy! One of the onsies alone would probably cost over $10.00 new at Baby Gap! As soon as I find out the gender, I am guessing my baby clothes shopping will dramatically increase ;)

Knew It!

I knew I would write much more once I was back in school! Ahhhh...procrastination. I've become somewhat of a pro at it :)

I found out about a FABULOUS event called "Just Between Friends" (http://www.jbfsale.com)- It is basically a Giant garage sale with a whole bunch of baby stuff!!! I can't wait! I am going to the pre-sale for new moms on October 6th in Maple Grove with my mom. Can't wait!!!

FYI...TMI

TMI Alert!!! I must say...It is becoming quite annoying that pregnancy is causing me to pee myself a little every time I sneeze (Correction: NOT SEE!!! Ooops!). What's with that?!?!

One week exactly until we know what our little bean is! I am becoming very impatient! I am just TOO excited!!! It is nice to have school as a distraction. I might not feel that way later on when I get HUGE and am in clinic or lab all the time. Time will tell.

I caught the shopping fever again after a brief hiatus. I bought some cute onesies at goodwill and the new (fabulous) thrift store in Elk River. Still gender neutral until next week, but then I have a feeling I'm going to go a little shopping crazy!!!! Here are some of my recent online wish-list finds :)

Rawr!!!

So. I might have some pregnancy hormones raging...Not intentionally, but I've noticed I'm a bit irritable :-D I don't know if it is because I get so tired. Or uncomfortable. Or hungry? It's hard being over sensitive - I'm sure DH would agree that it's pretty frustrating. He is doing a pretty good job (most of the time) though.

Anyways...I definitely didn't fit into my scrubs very comfortably. I went shopping for a new scrub wardrobe when I got done with class yesterday. I couldn't take another day in my old scrub pants. Luckily, after taking the hem out of the tops, they should fit for another month or so :) Strangely, when I went to Life Uniform, they didn't have any maternity scrubs. Bummer! I did find 3 pairs of pants that fit - 2 of them should last the entire pregnancy. I also bought a couple of scrub tops for when I get a little bigger. I am hoping I can keep up with the semester okay. I feel good, I just get tired and my back starts to hurt if I sit too long. I slept for 4 hours when I got home from class and grocery shopping today. I didn't mean to...but I did :) I have a full day of class (8:00-4:30) tomorrow. I'm going to be so pooped!

I am itching to find out the sex - it is coming up so soon!!!! I'm dying to register and do a little shopping for baby :) I'm excited to start feeling some movements too! ;)

Writers Block?

So my lovely SIL informed me that it has been almost a whole month since I have blogged...Maybe it is due to writers block? My writers block may or may not be lifted as soon as I start classes again and feel like procrastinating ;)

So, where I am at now: My belly is getting huge! It is finally looking like I am definitely pregnant, and not just a heavy beer drinker (haha). With my huge belly, by boobs are getting equally as huge. Some women say that is a perk of pregnancy...personally, I could do without it. It is just so very uncomfortable! Plus, it becomes a little tricky to dress them and not let them all hang out. Yikes!

I went to the Dr. for my monthly check up 2 weeks ago and I had officially gained 10 lbs since my first appointment at 6 weeks. The Dr. said I am right on track, which is SO nice to hear! I would be mortified if I gained over 30 lbs. I am shooting for 25 :) Along with my boobs not feeling the greatest, my back also hurts if I stand (or sit, or walk) for too long. It has been a tremendous help to have my new Stearns & Foster king size bed! Ahhhhh fabulous!

I had to fight pretty hard for that silly bed. Our last bed was ancient and so very uncomfortable. It had lost its firmness and whenever one of us moved, the whole bed moved. On top of that, it sunk in the center. With my belly growing, sleeping got harder and harder. But DH was not convinced that we really NEEDED a new bed. He just kept saying "No. We don't have any money." So I went ahead and got the bed on my own (I know, naughty) and am going to pay for it through my business. It has been so worth it!!! Sleep has been so much better, there is so much room for DH, Burton, me and my growing belly. DH got over being mad and loves it too...Thank goodness!

The most exciting news as of today, only 2 more weeks until we get our ultrasound to find out boy or girl!!!!!! It seems to have gone by so fast! I am 18 weeks now. Wow, that went fast. I've been so good about not baby shopping for a long time, just waiting to find out the sex. But I did buy a little something at Target the other day, which was silly, but it was just so cute! And on sale!! I bought an infant hoodie - pink with little ruffles :-D It was only $2.80! I couldn't help myself! If it turns out to be a boy, I'll just return it or give it to a pregnant friend that is going to be having a girl :) Now, don't let this fool any of you. Neither DH nor I care what it is, as long as it is healthy. Oh boy, it is starting to feel so real!

First day of my 4th semester of dental school tomorrow - My plan is to blog again tomorrow night after my work meeting. I really just hope my scrubs still fit :)
