The baby room paint is decided! I got the wonderful idea from a friend and Love it! Drum roll please..........Yellow and white stripes! Yay!!! They will be vertical and about 12 inches or so wide. I'm so excited to get the nursery set up! Really, really soon! We get our keys for our new place tomorrow and we're gonna go in and paint first and then move all our stuff in.
This whole moving thing is going to be much less stressful than our last moves in the sense that we have a whole month to switch places. But, on the other hand, we have to somehow (I really don't know how) come up with rent for BOTH places for the month of August. This could be quite the issue. So that is causing a little stress.
In other news...I am over the 3 month mark! Yay! I am starting to get used to this whole being pregnant thing. Everything is still growing at an alarming rate, which gets to me sometimes, but I am starting to get used to it. I am feeling great lately! Still pretty tired BUT even that is getting better. I exercised the last 2 days and it feels so good to get that back into my life.
My new business is getting off the ground. I have my debut party next week and I'm really excited about it! I am really hoping I am successful (whatever that means). I just don't want to fail. But I have high hopes and I think it will be really fun! :)
Ok, that's all...Pictures have been lacking due to my lack of baby shopping lately, but I will post pics of the nursery soon!

Finally!!!
Ok, Ok, Okay! I’m FINALLY writing a new blog post – About time, right?!?!? I was just feeling like I didn’t have anything all that significant to say, but now I have a couple things to talk about. :)
First, we just had our 3rd appointment. Nothing too exciting – They checked my weight, blood pressure, had a pelvic exam… AND got the HEAR the heart beat!!!!! It took him a little while to find it, but there it was, by my left hip bone, in all it’s glory! 166 beats per minute (bpm). It was a special moment…what a blessing! DH’s face lights up like a Christmas tree for this stuff. He loves it and gets so excited. It’s cute. Back to the weight thing…I am still growing, like crazy! I won’t even dare to mention what I am up to now, but it is quite unsettling for me. DH keeps trying to convince me that I am supposed to gain weight, and my body is doing what it is supposed to be doing and that I look great, and yada-yada-yada. It is still unsettling to see the numbers creep up each time I go in. The Dr. said to concentrate on eating more proteins and less carbs. This means DH is gonna have to start cooking for me. I don’t know how to make a whole lot besides pasta! We are going to have to come up with some creative meal plans because I feel like I am so picky during this pregnancy so far. At least the sound of food doesn’t make me gag (as often) anymore.
Now that I am feeling better, I really need to get back into a work out routine. I would love to go back to my yoga studio. It is just so convenient, but most of their classes are hot yoga and I can’t do those. Maybe I’ll go back to the yoga studio I started at. It is right by the townhouse we are moving to!! Hmmmm…what a good idea! I like it :)
So, yes, moving, in a week and a half. Yikes! The good news is we will have a whole month where we will still be renting both places. The bad news is we have to pay rent on both places for a whole month. Not so lovely, but it will make the stress of the move SO much less! I started packing a little bit on Monday and have all day off tomorrow to pack. We are lucky DH’s parents had a ton of boxes we can use for moving! Yay! We got rid of all the boxes from our last move. We weren’t exactly planning on moving so soon, but little bean needs a nursery! I am so excited to set it up. Right now we have all the baby stuff in our den, wherever we can fit it. Now, I have to decide what color to paint the room. The bedding is yellow and green. So my ideas so far are 1. Light green (we already have this paint color) 2. Light yellow. More of a butter cream type yellow. Nothing too bright. And then third option is a little different, but I think it could look nice with the green and yellow 3. Gray. Not a dark gray, but a soothing gray. It is hard to describe what I have in mind. I’ll have to get some paint swatches to post on here. Any initial thoughts???
And last but not least, as a pregnant woman, going to school full time and wanting to help DH out with the finances a little bit, I took on a new business venture! I am so extremely excited about it! I went to a meeting with my friend from bible study and was just so inspired by the amazing, positive, uplifting Christian women involved in this company. I think it will really be something I enjoy and that I will learn a lot from. I even started a website for it and will post a link at the end of this post - Check it out! Wow! So many new, exciting things going on in our lives – we are truly blessed.

Time Flies...
Time flies when I don't feel sick all day! Yay for Vitamin B6. I tried taking the Unisom with it (per doctor's orders) but it totally knocked me out. No surprise there. So YAY YAY YAY for feeling better :)
I even managed to have enough energy to volunteer in the pediatrics clinic (which I thoroughly enjoyed!). But besides that activity, I have only had enough energy to go to about an hour of class and then I'm pooped by the time I get home. I don't know if that will get better in the second trimester, but I can handle that much better than being sick all day.
So....I am more and more thinking it might be a girl. Once the thought was in my mind, it didn't seem to leave. It would make sense. There are so many girls on both sides of the family, but I just can't imagine having a girl. I don't know why. I guess I always just pictured having a boy first. Neither DH nor I care what we have. We will just be very thankful for a happy, healthy baby :)
It is crazy to think that next year at this time, I will have an infant! Crazy! Every time I think of things like that, I get really excited! It doesn't seem real yet. I don't think it will feel real until I have a nice big baby bump ;)
I still have not been craving sweets. Fruit has been sounding good, and anything salty. So strange for me (minus the fruit part). I'm thinking it is a good thing though. I don't think I really need sweets!
DH and I are leading our bible study on "raising children" in a couple of weeks - Yikes! Hopefully we will learn a lot about what God says about raising children. I mean, what better advice can we get them from the Bible, right?!?! :)
And lastly, some cute things I stumbled upon:

All Day Long
I'm gonna write a little jingle to describe my first semester so far...
Eat eat eat, all day long
Eat eat eat while I sing this song
I eat in the morning and in the afternoon
I eat when it's sunny and when I see the moon
Here I eat, there I eat, everywhere I eat, eat
Yup, that pretty much sums it up. At first, I was eating so much because I was hungry, and I craved certain things. Then I ate so much because the only time I didn't feel nauseous was when I was eating. If I went too long without eating, I would feel SO sick. I am finally getting out of the nausea phase (hopefully) and I hope that my eating habits will be able to go back to normal. I am a little nervous to see my weight when I go back to the Dr. in 3 weeks. I have already gained enough to cover my entire first trimester and a good chunk of my second. Sigh....
Ahhhh pregnancy - quite the adventure I got myself into. And it's just begun! :)
And for a little bit of sunshine, this is where I wish I could be right now. Babymoon maybe? I wish!

Ok, Ok, Ok!!!
I'll finally post. I've intended to post for the last few days, but I've felt so horrible, I just couldn't muster up the energy (or brain power). But, calm before (or just after?) the storm? Either way, I am feeling better...at the moment. What could be responsible for this occurrence? Well, I called my NP to see if there was something I could take for the horrible all-day-long nausea I was experiencing. She suggested I try 50mg of Vitamin B6 2x/day with Unisom. Well, since Unisom is both a sleep aid and expensive, I decided to just give the B6 a whirl. It seems to be helping. Am I cured? Not quite. But I am definitely feeling better. I'll take it! :)
After having such awful nausea for 10 DAYS, I informed DH this will be my 1 and only pregnancy!!!!! We will have to adopt the next 3 ;) Hehe But then I decided, maybe we should take things one child at a time.
My baby bump is beginning to make an appearance. How.Exciting!!! I can't wait for my big round belly! And I just feel like our little bean is nice and healthy in there. That's a good feeling.
After being SO convinced that we were pregnant with a boy, I am starting to toy with the idea that it might be a girl. I'm happy either way. Elated, actually :D
And, by request, here are some of my garage sale finds (the only productive thing I managed to accomplish last weekend) :)

What's Cookin' Good Lookin?
Our little bean is lookin' good :) He/she has a heart rate of 125 bpm, which I guess is good. DH was just elated when the baby popped up on the screen. He was smiling ear to ear! He even got to see the heart beat. It is nice to put a picture to this little bean that is causing me to be so sick! And drum roll please...Making his/her first appearance....little bean Borntrager!!!

I decided to stay home and rest this weekend instead of volunteering in Wisconsin. The nausea seems to have settled a little bit, at times. Other times it is pretty intense (like when I decide eating Wendy's would be a good idea). I got a Sea Band from Target that is supposed to help with the nausea. It seems to be helping a little bit.
I'm thinking about going to the Peapods sidewalk sale tomorrow...up to 75% of baby items!?!!?! That's my kind of day of R&R :)
Next hurdle, attempting to eat tacos. We'll see.
